Learning About Kwansaa, a Special African Festival...

 

Li'l Rabbit sent a letter to  Robins asking if the children had enjoyed celebrating Christmas, she told the children that she had just celebrated a special African festival called Kwanzaa.

 

Li'l Rabbit sent a book explaining what Kwanzaa is all about, she asked the children if they would like to join in with some of the traditional activities.

 

Li'l Rabbit explained that working together is very important, therefore the whole class  worked together to weave the African flag.

 

The children also enjoyed rolling corn in paint and writing some of the things that they would do/take to the party.
