At the last Gala held in Gisburn, Mayor, Mr. Richard Sherras opened the village gala in the School Hall at 12:30pm. The theme for the Produce, Arts and Crafts Show, held in the Festival Hall and for the children's fancy dress competition was 'Lancashire'.

 

For the second year, Preston Music Centre Concert Band gave a fantasic performance and refreshments were served. Sports events were held on the school field and there was a barbeque; chocolate & bottle tombolas; cake stall; bouncy castle; historical and craft displays!

 

It was lovely to see so many families and the wider community coming together, sharing their skills and enjoying themselves. Well done to all who took part in the show, the sports or the fancy dress competition!
