Reading Ambassadors

Our amazing Reading Ambassadors work tirelessly to promote reading for pleasure in school. They create and publish our Gisburn Reading Newsletter, write book recommendations, share books with younger children and come up with wonderful ideas to promote a love of reading in school.

A Visit from the School Library Bus…

On Wednesday, 8th November our new Reading Ambassadors had their first important responsibility - choosing books from Lancashire’s School Library Bus to add to their Class libraries.

During National Story Telling Week... 

  • Our Reading Ambassadors supported our youngest readers to bring out their imaginations with some adventurous vocabulary and ideas.
