‘Remembrance Rocks’ …
All children have taken part in a Remembrance Rocks Project to help commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later.
On 11th November, we held a 2 minute silence at 11:00am, remembering those who fought or died in a war. KS1 & KS2 children created a carpet of beautifully painted rocks at the village cenotaph and read their own war poetry out loud.
