Kingfishers have had a wonderful experience at Brockhole on Windermere. As part of their geography topic the children were comparing the geographical features of the Lake District to Australia, so this trip brought their learning to life!

The activities for the day included exploring different habitats around the grounds and meeting some friends on the way; adventure playground; undercover picnic and being detectives for the day! The children also discovered why the Lake District has so many visitors and how this is managed in order to look after this beautiful area.
