Doves Class have had an incredible day at Martin Mere Wetland Centre! Not only did they have a wild walk and encounter fascinating wildfowl, but they also had a wonderful scientific exploration of pond life.
The children enjoyed pond dipping, discovering various aquatic creatures. Later, they moved into the science area to classify the animals they found and delved deeper into the effects of water quality on living things and their habitats. It was an engaging and educational experience that truly ignited the children’s curiosity! Despite the rain hindering play area plans, the children made the most of it and had a fantastic time!
