Thursday, 3rd October was truly heartwarming as we celebrated our Harvest Assembly! We were delighted to welcome Nicola and Matthew from Burnley Together, who came to collect the generous food donations from our Gisburn Primary School community.

Thanks to your kindness and others in our area, we've managed to provide enough food support to fill half of Turf Moor – a remarkable achievement that showcases the generosity of our families! Nicola and Matthew shared inspiring stories about how these donations have directly supported many families in the Burnley community, making a real difference in their lives.

The highlight of the assembly was when our talented children from Eagles class read their beautiful autumn poems. Their creativity and passion truly shone, reminding us all of the warmth and gratitude we can share during this season of giving.

A massive thank you to everyone who contributed to our food drive! Together, we continue to foster a compassionate community.
