On Thursday, 31st October our Yr. 4 boys took to the field at the Ribble Valley Schools Football Competition - with a team of 9 boys, each bringing their own unique skills, we were ready for action. Some had more match experience than others, but the camaraderie and team spirit were second to none.

Gisburn 1-1 St Leonard’s
We kicked off with a thrilling 1-1 draw! Both teams battled hard, and our boys held strong with great teamwork and energy!
Gisburn 1-0 St Joseph’s
Our first victory! A fantastic goal and solid defence saw us win 1-0. The boys found their rhythm and showed what they’re capable of together!
Gisburn 0-0 St Mary’s Langho
A tense match that ended in a nil-nil draw. The boys stayed focused, with a defense that wouldn’t quit!
Gisburn 0-0 Waddington & West Bradford
Another close game where both teams gave it their all! We created some strong chances and showcased brilliant teamwork!
Gisburn 0-3 Pendle Primary
In the final game, we faced a strong Pendle Primary team. Though the result wasn’t in our favour, our boys showed grit and resilience until the last whistle!
