On Monday, 2nd July Robins had a fantastic day exploring Hesketh Farm Park!
From stroking and grooming guinea pigs to a bumpy and fun tractor ride with Farmer Chris, the children were full of smiles all day long. Farmer Chris also helped us learn more about the animals we met along the way.
The play area and mini tractors were a big hit, followed by a well-earned lunch break. Afterwards, we headed off on the padlock walk where we fed goats, donkeys, and pigs.
We even measured one of the farm’s mighty oak trees, collected eggs, and handled some fluffy chicks. The children enjoyed mixing milk and helping to feed the calves too!
A big thank you to all the staff and volunteers who made this trip so special
